Celebs Respond To Convicted Hollywood Hacker

Scarlett Johansson is one the celebs to speak out about the convicted Hollywood hacker, who leaked naked photos of her in 2011.The Avengers star made a videotaped statement that was played in court on Monday as Christopher Chaney, who hacked multiple celeb email accounts also including those of Christina Aguilera and Mila Kunis, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, the Los Angeles Times reports. Johansson said she was "truly humiliated and embarrassed" by the leaked naked photos of her and called Chaney's work "perverted and reprehensible." Likewise, Christina Aguilera addressed the court by saying, "That feeling of security can never be given back and there is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy." Renee Olstead, star of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, was another celebrity among Chaney's victims and addressed the court, in person, sobbing and saying, "I just really hope this doesn't happen to someone else. You can lose everything because of the actions of a stranger." Chaney's most recent  hearing revealed that he had hacked into more than 50 celebrity email accounts, including those of Jessica Alba, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Ali Larter and Busy Philipps, as well as two non-famous victims. Along with jail-time, he was ordered to pay $66,179 in restitution. The 36-year-old hacker was arrested in October and has been in custody since March when he pleaded guilty to nine felony counts, including unauthorized computer access and wiretapping as part of a plea agreement.

"Gangam Style" Singer's Controversial Anti-American Protest Song

Although the "Gangnam Style" singer issued a swift apology time last week after the controversial lyrics of a protest song the South Korean rapper released nearly a decade ago came to light, the video of him performing another controversial song has now surfaced. The newly leaked video footage of his music video is from a 2002 performance and was reportedly given by PSY ("Gangam Style" rapper) as a response to two South Korean schoolgirls being killed in an accident involving U.S. millitary. It's unclear if this song is different from the headline-grabbing tune whose lyrics called to "kill those *#$%*#% Yankees," as he reportedly made that performance in 2004—though his damage control apology issued Friday presumably covered all manner of past indiscretions. In the 10-year-old performance that has now surfaced, PSY is seen in full gold face, lifting a replica U.S. tank over his head and smashing it down onstage, repeatedly attacking and dismantling it while encouraging cheers come from the crowd.Despite the growing controversy, PSY still performed as planned at the Christmas in Washington concert over the weekend, performing for President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama in the concert hosted by Conan O'Brien. It airs on TNT Dec. 21.

Star Trek Movie Sequal Poster Gives Hints

The movies poster (pictured to the left) hints to a major destruction throughout a city, with the new villian, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, shown standing on the ruins. However, the director, cast, and crew of the movies remain silent on what is to come and happen in the upcoming movie. "I've seen enough to know that I'm really excited about it and J.J.'s not fooling around," Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock, said. He added, "I think it's going to be an exciting journey again." Even though rumors swirled around that Quinto was calling it quits after Into Darkness (the name of the Star Trek sequal) because of some comments he made to Entertainment Weekly, he assured all that he's not going anywhere. "Of course I wouldn't leave," he said. "I've had an incredible experience working with J.J. [J.J. Abrahms, the director] and that ensemble of wonderful actors, who are now wonderful friends. I would never willingly walk away from that." When asked how many Star Trek movies he was  obligated to be a part of, he answered, "Just one more, just one more." Well, this movie seems very interesting, and because the first movie was so good I expect this one to be the same, if not better.

Maybe A Rush Hour 4?

Even though Jackie Chan has announced that he's retiring from action movies, his Rush Hour costar Chris Tucker is pretty confident that they'll make a fourth installment of their hit comedy franchise."It's going to be a lot of fun," Tucker said the night at the Silver Linings Playbook screening in L.A. "I hope it happens. We need to do one more."The first Rush Hour hit theaters in 1998 followed by a second in 2001 and the last one in 2007. Brett Ratner directed all three."I just want us to be free and do our thing," Tucker said. "I love working with Jackie, being around Jackie. Stuff just happens when we're together."Chan said in May that after 100 films, Chinese Zodiac would be his last because he was getting too old for the action stunts and wasn't happy how violent movies have become.

Breaking Dawn Part 2- The Reviews Are In!

Before any movie is release to the public, movie critics get to see the movie and review for the public. The final installment of the Twilight Saga series seems to be quite a hit with the critics:

The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy said "The final installment of the immortal Bella/Edward romance will give its breathlessly awaiting international audience just what it wants."

Baz Bamigboye from the Daily Mail wrote, "I can't deny that I didn't care very much for the four other movies. For the most part they were poorly made and badly acted. Also, all that girl falls in love with a soppy vampire then a second suitor turns up who turns into a werewolf got on my nerves. But somehow the final film has stuff to say about love, friendship and loyalty that works."

With Bella reborn as a bloodthirsty, butt-kicking vampire mama, this . . . clears a low bar to stand easily as the franchise's most eventful and exciting entry. Admittedly, much of the credit should go to a jaw-dropping extended climax that will give fans something to chew on . . . -- not that a movie this commercially invincible requires too many talking points," Variety's Justin Chang said, and also added, that, "it'll be interesting to monitor reactions beyond author Stephenie Meyer's distaff fanbase, this being perhaps the first Twilight picture that some men in the audience might find themselves actually enjoying."

There were many other positive response to the movie by other critics as well. Most of them had mentioned that they really did not like the first other movies but very much enjoyed the last one.

If these reviews got to you, you should go watch the movie!

Marlee Matlin of ABC Family's Switched at Birth Slams SNL Parody

Marlee Matlin of the hit ABC Family show Switched at Birth recently slammed the comedy skit show SNL (Saturday Night Live) for their "dumb" spoof of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's sign language interpreter, Lydia Callis, and her extremely animated signing during the former's Hurricane Sandy press conferences. She tweeted "Millions of deaf people use sign. Why poke fun/fake it? Poke fun at ME but not the language. Would they do that to Spanish or Chinese? FAIL." Well, being Hispanic myself, I've seem my share of people making fun of my language, and I don't really care about because it doesn't mean anything; it's just a joke. But Matlin, who's deaf and is an outspoken member of the National Association of the Deaf, was unhappy about it and explained why."I'm referring to sign language parodies. Sign is not mime; it is a legit language. That's why I developed an App ‪#MarleeSigns to teach it," she wrote in a follow-up post. "As I've said, I don't mind fun poked at me, as I poke back. But at the language that millions use? It feels childish and insulting." Again she added, "Here's my point. Deaf people HAVE a sense of humor. Ever see me on Family Guy or Seinfeld? But faking signs that we use isn't the same. Imagine if a show started making fun of Spanish (using fake Spanish) or Japanese. Do you think they'd actually get away with it? Uh, no." Well, Matlin, they do all the time! They always get away with it because its not supposed to be discrimatory, just funny!

Late Night Shows in NYC Tape Without Live Audiences Due To Hurricane Sandy

Due to Hurricane Sandy, late night shows like "David Lettermen" and "Jimmy Fallon" have to tape their shows without audiences. New Yorkers were told to either evacuate the area or stay indoors, so no one was going to make the trek to the studios to watch the tapings. On "David  Lettermen" guest Denzel Washington showed up in a yellow rain jackets, as if he'd actually be walking through the streets of New York  just to be there. "Only for you, Dave," he said. "I swam." Asked if he had ever been in a hurricane before, Washington cracked, "Once, with Noah." Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon decided to open his show by filming outside 30 Rock himself. Jimmy's opening line was "I'm hoping, if you're watching, you are at home, you're safe, you're warm...But we're here,". Guest Seth Meyers, Padma Lakshmi, Robert Zemeckis and the band Imagine Dragons were all at the filming (indoors) too. Jimmy Fallon joked "Theater owners had to cancel all Broadway shows today," he said. "Many performers were having trouble making it into the city. You could tell by that one show, Blue Man Guy."
