Late Night Shows in NYC Tape Without Live Audiences Due To Hurricane Sandy
Due to Hurricane Sandy, late night shows like "David Lettermen" and "Jimmy Fallon" have to tape their shows without audiences. New Yorkers were told to either evacuate the area or stay indoors, so no one was going to make the trek to the studios to watch the tapings. On "David Lettermen" guest Denzel Washington showed up in a yellow rain jackets, as if he'd actually be walking through the streets of New York just to be there. "Only for you, Dave," he said. "I swam." Asked if he had ever been in a hurricane before, Washington cracked, "Once, with Noah." Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon decided to open his show by filming outside 30 Rock himself. Jimmy's opening line was "I'm hoping, if you're watching, you are at home, you're safe, you're warm...But we're here,". Guest Seth Meyers, Padma Lakshmi, Robert Zemeckis and the band Imagine Dragons were all at the filming (indoors) too. Jimmy Fallon joked "Theater owners had to cancel all Broadway shows today," he said. "Many performers were having trouble making it into the city. You could tell by that one show, Blue Man Guy."

Ann Coulter's Tweet Gets Bad Reviews
After Monday night's Presidential Debate, Ann Coulter tweeted this statement: "I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard." This statment recieved many negative comments from other well-known people. "@AnnCoulter You disgust me," tweeted Sophia Bush. "That man is the president of this country. (& I'm sure all of the disabled children in America appreciate you.)" Comedian Patton Oswalt also responded, posting, "Ann Coulter died of prostate cancer in 2002. Her Twitter account's a sentient emu skeleton with a swatch of eyelid skin stretched over it." He later added: "If Ann Coulter's calling the President a 'retard' it means he won/is going to win. She's our un-pettable Punxsutawney Phil." Holly Robinson Peete also spoke up, writing: "As a mom of a son with autism the words Retard or retarded are like nails on a chalkboard. A lot of people say it benignly esp. kids...So when a grown woman deliberately uses it publicly over and over you just have to wonder if there is a chip missing ya know?" In addition to these, there were many other different comments. Clearly, Ann's tweet has drawn many different types of reviews, ranging from the political to the "moral".Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Lindsay Lohan's Mom In Major Debt
Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's mom, has been getting herself into a lot of problems recently. She has been in fights with her ex-husband, Lindsay's dad. Also, she has been in fights with Lindsay herself; they have made up off and on for a while. However, Dina's debt problem hasn't been resolved completely. Over the course of 11 years, Dina has accrued a very large debt. Just last week, Lindsay gave her mom $40,000 to help her alleviate her major debt. She has a mortgage loan in the amount of $200,000 from J.P. Morgan Chase for her Long Island home in Merrick, N.Y. She took out that loan in November 2005 that amounted up to $94,087.28. These are few of the many loans that she has taken out and now owes. Even though she is pretty much drowning in debt, she still hasn't filed for bankruptcy.

Demi Lovato Addresses Dating Rumors
There have been some rumors going around that Demi Lovate has been dating One Directions Niall Horan. There have been suspisions that her friendship to him has turned into something more; however, she has addressed these rumors in Teen Vouge saying "He's a really awesome, sweet guy, but he's not my boyfriend...I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself." She goes on to say "Obviously, I'm still going to like people—or love them—but I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be OK with being alone, first. I'm really happy right now. I never thought it was possible to be happy because of how depressed I was my entire life. But I feel so incredible. It's like living in a dream." By her depression, she was referring to her rehab days, where she had to deal with her own personal problems, while cutting some friends from her life that ". . .didn't have her best interest at heart". She mentions that most of her friends ". . .aren't even in the industry" and that some don't even know her songs.

Charge's Dropped on Lindsay Lohan's Assaulter
Early Saturday morning in NYC, Lindsay Lohan was supposedly assaulted in her hotel room by a 25-year old man. She said that he was taking secret photos of her, so she confronted him about it. This is where this get a little strange. Lindsay says that the man threw her on the bed and punched her in the face, so she ran away but later came back; in addition, her friend had pulled a fire alarm in an attempt to help the situation. The NYPD, however, dropped the two charges of misdemeanor assault and two counts of harassment charges originally filed against Christian LaBella, supposedly the one who assaulted her.
"It's both distressing and outrageous…and there should be a consequence for that," Lohan's rep Steve Honig told E! News.
